| Description | Sodium taurodeoxycholate is manufactured by NZP from the bile derived steroid, deoxycholic acid. It is a nature equivalent compound, chemically identical to the natural steroid produced in the liver of many animal species.
NZP manufactures sodium taurodeoxycholate from NZP's own deoxycholic acid extracted from cattle bile (also known as "bovine bile" or "ox bile"), a by-product of the meat processing industry. NZP's sodium taurodeoxycholate is prepared from certified deoxycholic acid from countries approved by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Healthcare. NZP does not sell taurodeoxycholic acid due to it's inherent instability. |
