Role: Production Manager
From: Palmerston North New Zealand

Born and raised in Palmerston North, I was fortunate enough to begin my career only 20 minutes’ drive from my hometown, at NZP. I started working at NZP in 1982 as a Process Operator at just 16 years of age.

Over my time here, I have carried out various roles in the manufacturing facility, most recently being promoted to Production Manager. Each day at NZP is made enjoyable by the environment I work in and the people I get to work with. I am proud of what NZP has achieved and it feels good to be a part of the continual evolution of the company. Home of the mighty Turbos rugby team and various international sports names such as formula 1 racer Brendon Hartley, international rally car driver Haydon Paddon and All Black rugby player Ngani Laumape (originating from my home rugby club – Kia Toa!), the Manawatu is a great place to live and work.
