Planning and Procurement Coordinator

New Zealand Pharmaceuticals Ltd (NZP) is a subsidiary of ICE Group, who successfully produce a wide range of Bile Acids for the global market. NZP headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located on the outskirts of Palmerston North, New Zealand, from where we have proudly supplied our global customers for 50 years. We are seeking an experienced Planning and Procurement Coordinator to become an integral part of our team.

The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to join a small, but multi-talented team within a successful Manawatu business. In this role you will manage the short and long-term production planning requirements to ensure efficient use of manufacturing resources. Equally, you will have your finger on the pulse ensuring that the planning, forecasting, scheduling and purchasing activities are accurate and support operations.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will work collaboratively to maintain a focus on the demand management cycle and always strive for continuous improvement opportunities. Key accountabilities in this role include production scheduling, procurement, reporting, and sales distribution planning. You will also work closely with our Shipping and Commercial teams.

Quality Assurance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to become an integral part of our team.

The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to join a small, but multi-talented team within a successful Manawatu business. In this role you will supervise and oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the product release function as well as be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Supplier Management, Product Release, and the Quality Documentation team. 
 
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will ensure that any deviations, OOSs and departures from the Company’s documented Quality Management System (QMS) are closed out and reviewed. Key accountabilities and duties of this role also include starting material and finished product release, general Quality Assurance related activities including but not limited to carrying out of internal audits, conducting supplier audits, leading/assist with customer and regulatory audits as well as other QMS related tasks.

Process Operator Role

As an essential service provider, NZP is actively recruiting for Process Operators. We want positive thinking, hardworking, motivated individuals who will contribute to the team. We have three shifts and operate a 24/5 model with overtime availability on weekends.  Our shift times are as followed:

Day: 6:55AM to 3:25PM
Afternoon: 3:15PM to 11:15PM
Night: 11:05PM to 7:05AM

Experience is welcomed but not essential, as we will provide all the necessary training required to excel in this role.  The type of tasks Process Operators undertake are:

  • Operation of manufacturing equipment
  • Following procedures and recording process information
  • Chemical handling
  • Packaging goods 
  • Forklift operation 

The team operates to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and therefore your attention to detail and ability to follow procedures is essential.
